RP Local Pickup & Delivery – Product Page Zip Code Checker
Overview
The Product Page Zip Code Checker allows customers to verify whether local delivery is available for their location directly on the product page.
This feature improves conversion by:
Setting clear delivery expectations
Preventing checkout friction
Highlighting local availability instantly
On Online Store 2.0 themes, the checker appears as a “Check Postal Code” field via an app block. On vintage themes, it is automatically injected near the Add to Cart button.
How It Works
The zip/postal code checker is not tied to individual products. Instead, it is triggered by your delivery configuration settings.
When a customer enters a postal code:
The app checks active delivery locations
Matches against configured postal codes
Returns availability (eligible / not eligible)

Appears near purchase actions (Add to Cart / Buy buttons) - However you can move anywhere on the page within the product block
Required Conditions (All Must Be Met)
The checker will only appear and function if all of the following are enabled:
1. App is Active
2. Local Delivery is Enabled
3. Delivery Restriction Mode = Postal Code
This ensures delivery eligibility is determined by zip/postal codes.
4. Product Page Checker is Enabled
5. Valid Delivery Locations Exist
At least one active location must:
Have Local Delivery enabled
Include postal codes in the setup

Navigate to Product Template
Add block:

Check:
App script enabled
Product page block added (OS 2.0)
Feature toggle enabled in design settings
❌ Checker Shows But No Results?
Check:
Delivery locations are active
Postal codes are configured correctly
Restriction mode is set to postal codes
❌ Incorrect Availability Response?
Verify:
Postal code formatting consistency
No overlapping or conflicting location rules
Best Practices
Keep postal code lists clean and normalized
Use consistent formats (e.g., no mixed spacing rules)
Regularly review active locations
Place the checker above or near purchase buttons for visibility
