Can I Rename the Store Pickup Product Created by RP ProPickup?
Overview
When RP ProPickup is configured, the app automatically creates a Shopify product that is used to support the store pickup workflow. By default, this product is created with the name "Store Pickup."
Many merchants ask whether this product must retain its original name or if it can be customized after setup.
Answer
Yes. You can safely rename the Store Pickup product after it has been created by the shipping setup process.
RP ProPickup uses the Shopify Product ID and Variant ID to identify and manage the pickup product. Once the product has been created and linked, the app does not rely on the product title for its functionality.
Because of this, changing the product name in Shopify Admin will not affect normal RP ProPickup operations.
What Can Be Customized?
After the pickup product has been created, you may customize:
Product title
Product image
Product description
Other standard Shopify product settings
These changes will not impact the app's ability to recognize the pickup product.
Best Practices

Update the product image
Modify product details and content

Deleting the pickup product
Deleting the pickup variant
Replacing the product with a different Shopify product
If the product or variant is removed, RP ProPickup may no longer be able to locate the configured pickup item and additional setup may be required.
Recommendation
We recommend leaving the product and variant in place while customizing the product name and appearance as needed to match your store's branding and customer experience.
The default "Store Pickup" name is provided only during initial setup and is not required for ongoing operation.
