Refreshing the App in Your Shopify Store

If you need to correct an issue or ensure you’re running the latest version of the app, you can manually refresh it from your Shopify store admin. This process forces Shopify to download the most recent updates and apply any recent fixes.

Steps to Refresh the App

  1. Access the App Settings
Open your Shopify store admin and navigate to the app’s settings page.

  2. Make a Temporary Change
Adjust any setting within the app—for example, toggle a feature such as Auto-Publish Store Location Changes.

  3. Save Your Changes
After making the change, click Save. This action will trigger Shopify to reload and reapply the app configuration.

  4. Revert the Setting (Optional)
If you made a temporary change (such as turning a feature off or on), return it to your desired setting and save again.

Example

To refresh using the Auto-Publish Store Location Changes feature:

  • Turn Auto-Publish Store Location Changes on (if it was off) and click Save.

  • Then turn it off again (or back to your preferred state) and click Save once more.

This simple process forces the app to refresh, ensuring you have the latest updates and resolving most synchronization issues automatically.
