🗺️ Missing Store Locations
Last updated: October 2025
Applies to: Store Location Imports, Geocoding, Google Maps Integration
Overview
Some users may notice missing or incorrect store locations. This issue may have occurred due to recent changes in Google Maps geocoding settings, which affected how location coordinates (latitude and longitude) were being saved.
Cause
Google recently updated their Geocoding API, which caused temporary incompatibility with the system’s location-saving process.
We deployed an update to match Google’s new API behavior, but due to problems with that update, it was rolled back.
As a result, some locations created or edited during that period failed to save valid latitude and longitude data.
How to Check if Locations Were Affected
Export all locations to a spreadsheet.
In the export file, look for the columns labeled “Latitude” and “Longitude.”
If these fields are blank, geocoding failed for those records.
How to Fix the Issue
You can resolve the problem in one of two ways:
Option 1 — Manual Fix
Edit each affected location individually. (store locations --> click on the pencil icon to edit the store/location.
Re-enter or correct the address details to trigger a new geocode lookup. click the button for "Find Store on Map" and save the location.
Option 2 — Bulk Fix via Import
Export your current locations.
Check for any rows with a blank latitude or longitude field . Re-import the same file — the system will automatically reprocess geocoding.
✅ Important: When re-importing, enable the “Check for duplicates” option to prevent new locations from being created.
Resolution
After exporting and re-importing all locations, all missing locations should now be visible again.
Please verify that the import completed successfully.
Next Steps
Please review your store list and verify:
All expected locations appear correctly.
Links and location data (latitude/longitude) display as expected.
If you find any discrepancies, please contact support with details about the affected locations.
