Find a Missing Delivery or Pickup Date on an Order
Use this guide when an order arrives without the delivery or pickup date you expected.
1. Check all order information
Open the order in Shopify admin.
Review its details, additional information, attributes, tags, and timeline.
Open the order area inside RP Local Delivery Date and search for the order.
Check the payment method and how the order entered checkout.
2. Check whether the date is missing only from an email
If the selected date exists on the Shopify order but not in the confirmation email, the selection worked. The Shopify notification template must be configured to display the relevant order information. Ask support for the current notification-template instructions.
3. Reproduce the customer's route
Use the same product and device and test the standard cart, cart drawer, Buy Now, express payment, upsell, and subscription paths shown on the store. Confirm that the date remains selected after changing cart quantities and that it appears on the resulting test order.
What the result tells you
Only one checkout button fails: that path is likely bypassing the app.
The data is on the order but not in an email: update the notification display.
The standard flow shows a date but the test order has none: send the test order to support.
Shopify shows a different delivery/pickup label: compare the app selection with Shopify's separate fulfillment settings.
Keep the affected order number, timestamp, order timeline, and payment method. These are the most useful details for tracing the checkout path.
