This article helps you confirm that customers can use the delivery or pickup picker before you go live.
What this helps you do
Test your cart experience on desktop and mobile and confirm that dates, times, and restrictions work as expected.
Prerequisites
The app is installed and configured
The picker is visible in your theme
At least one location and schedule is active
Instructions
Open your storefront on a desktop browser.
Add a product to the cart.
Check that the picker loads without overlapping the cart buttons or totals.
Test all available methods:
local delivery
local pickup
Select a date.
If enabled, select a time or time slot.
Enter a test address if your delivery setup uses area restrictions.
Confirm that unavailable areas or dates are blocked correctly.
Continue to checkout. If your store has the app's checkout extension enabled, confirm the saved delivery or pickup selection appears there. Otherwise, confirm checkout can proceed after the cart selection is complete.
Repeat the same test on a mobile phone or in mobile device preview.
If your theme includes a cart drawer, test the cart drawer separately.
Save a short record of the test:

On the app dashboard, review Widget status. Open the editor for each
placement that is disabled or not verified. If you use the Thank You Page or Order Status block, place a test order and
confirm the saved schedule appears on those pages. Do not treat an
Enabled dashboard badge alone as proof that buyers see the correct data.

Mobile cart with the same selection and checkout action:
Expected result
The picker works correctly on desktop and mobile, and customers can complete the intended selection without confusion.
Troubleshooting notes
If the picker appears cut off on mobile, check the theme layout and app placement.
If a date can be selected when it should be blocked, review lead times, cutoff times, and blackout dates.
If customers outside your delivery zone still see delivery, review the delivery restriction method and test address format.
Important warnings or limitations
Warning: Always test on the live theme preview before announcing local delivery or pickup to customers.
Theme preview results can differ from the live storefront if unpublished theme changes are still pending.
Some themes load cart content dynamically, so both cart page and cart drawer must be tested if both exist.
