What this helps you do

Quickly identify whether the issue comes from app setup, theme placement, delivery restrictions, rates, or schedule rules.

Prerequisites

  • The app is installed

  • You can access both the app and your theme editor

Instructions

  1. Confirm the app is installed in Shopify admin → Apps.

  2. Confirm at least one location is active in the app.

  3. Confirm the relevant service is enabled for that location:

    • delivery

    • pickup

  4. Confirm RPDelivery Date App Embed is enabled for the theme you are testing.

  5. Confirm the schedule has at least one valid available date or time.

  6. If delivery is missing, review:

    • delivery area rules

    • address format

    • delivery rates

  7. If pickup is missing, review:

    • location pickup toggle

    • pickup schedule

    • blocked dates

  8. If the wrong dates appear, review:

    • lead time

    • cutoff time

    • blackout dates

    • maximum booking range

  9. If the wrong fee appears, review:

    • area settings

    • rate conditions

    • all dynamic pricing rules on the selected location

  10. Test again in a private browser window.

  11. Test on both desktop and mobile.

Expected result

You isolate the likely cause of the issue and can either fix it or send support the exact details they need.

Troubleshooting notes

  • Picker not visible: usually a disabled app embed, the wrong theme, or incomplete location setup

  • No available dates: usually schedule, blackout dates, or lead time

  • Delivery blocked for valid customers: usually delivery-area settings or address formatting

  • Fee missing or wrong: usually an inapplicable pricing rule, the wrong selected location, or a missing app pricing product

Important warnings or limitations

Warning: Avoid making many setting changes at once while troubleshooting. Change one item, save, and test again.

  • If you are testing a live store, use a test product or low-risk product where possible.
