This article helps you review the most important app settings before customers start using delivery or pickup.

What this helps you do

Check the settings that most often affect whether customers can see and use delivery or pickup correctly.

Prerequisites

  • The app is installed

  • You have at least one location

  • You are ready to review your live or preview setup

Instructions

  1. In Shopify admin → Apps → RP Local Delivery Date, open the app.

  2. Go to the Settings section in the app.

  3. Review Settings → General for storewide picker behavior.

  4. Open the location's Delivery or Pickup profile for schedule and eligibility rules.

  5. For delivery, confirm the restriction method you want to use:

    • radius

    • postal or ZIP codes

    • map area

  6. Review whether the date picker is enabled.

  7. Review whether the time picker or time slots are enabled.

  8. Confirm your lead time, cutoff time, and maximum date-range settings.

  9. To make the profile available only within a cart-value range, enable Allow
delivery/pickup only for certain cart totals
    , enter a Minimum, and
optionally enter a Maximum. Set the maximum to zero when you do not need
    an upper limit.

  10. Save your changes.

  11. Review Settings → Integrations if you use Google Maps, calendars,
EasyRoutes, CSV exports, or Shopify Flow.

  12. Review Settings → Email Setups if Shopify notifications should show the
    selected delivery or pickup schedule.

  13. Test the storefront again after saving.

Expected result

Your main app settings match your intended store policy before the app goes live.

Troubleshooting notes

  • If delivery is visible for the wrong areas, review the delivery restriction method first.

  • If delivery dates start too soon or too late, review lead time and cutoff settings.

  • If your fees are missing, review delivery rate settings and Shopify plan requirements.

Important warnings or limitations

Warning: Saving settings in the app may affect customers immediately if you are editing the live configuration.

  • Make one major change at a time, then test.

  • If multiple staff members manage the app, agree on who will publish changes.

  • Cart-total restrictions work with standard delivery and pickup scheduling,
but cannot currently be combined with Dynamic Pricing rules. Remove the
Dynamic Pricing rules or disable the cart-total restriction before saving.
